Want to get into the Christmas season with a great new craft?  Take this exciting new class at EcoEquitable and build your own advent calendar with a kit from local fabric store Fabrications.  In this course, you will be guided through the process of making a magical family heirloom by wonderful teacher Michelle Ferranti. All materials will be provided, and students are encouraged to bring a special fabric from a family memento (piece of shirt, bag, ect from a loved one) to incorporate into your craft. Great class to take with a teenager.

Pre-requisites:

  • Beginner sewing skills or equivalent. This class will not cover basic sewing machine operation (such as threading a needle, switching needles, reverse stitching, etc.) Students should be able to do these without assistance.

Included:

  • Advent Calendar Kit (regular size) including fabrics.
  • Sewing machine during class time
  • Bobbin for your thread and a spool of matching thread.

    Refund/Cancellation policy:

    Written notice of cancellation may be processed with a full refund (minus a 10% admin fee) two weeks prior to the course starting.  Cancellations received 1 week prior to the course are eligible for a 50% refund unless there is a wait list for the course.  Cancellations within the final week prior to the course are non-refundable unless there is a wait list for the course and the course can be run with full attendance.
