Sewing Machine Maintenance April 7th, 2018 Saturday, 9am - 1pm Location: EcoEquitable's Sewing Classroom, 404 McArthur Avenue Minimum number of students to run: 3
Interested in learning how to take proper care of your sewing machine? Sewing machine technician, Susan Sarrasin, will teach this 4 hour interactive course to show you how to take apart your sewing machine and perform basic maintenance. She will explain the basic mechanism by which domestic sewing machines operate. Students are asked to bring their sewing machines to the workshop in order to learn on their own machines. The class is capped at 6 students in order to offer an intimate setting and lots of individual attention.
Note that this course is a maintenance course. There is not enough time in the class to do significant sewing machine repair so please do not bring in a broken machine. If your machine is broken, please contact us ahead of time and we can help you get it fixed.
