Want to get into the Christmas season with a great new craft? Take this exciting new class at EcoEquitable and build your own advent calendar with a kit from local fabric store Fabrications. In this course, you will be guided through the process of making a magical family heirloom by wonderful teacher Michelle Ferranti. All materials will be provided, and students are encouraged to bring a special fabric from a family memento (piece of shirt, bag, ect from a loved one) to incorporate into your craft. Great class to take with a teenager.
Beginnersewing skills or equivalent. This class will not cover basic sewing machine operation (such as threading a needle, switching needles, reverse stitching, etc.) Students should be able to do these without assistance.
Advent Calendar Kit (regular size) including fabrics.
Sewing machine during class time
Bobbin for your thread and a spool of matching thread.

Michelle Ferranti is a talented and experienced costume designer who loves to support students in developing their sewing knowledge and skills.
Written notice of cancellation may be processed with a full refund (minus a 10% admin fee) two weeks prior to the course starting. Cancellations received 1 week prior to the course are eligible for a 50% refund unless there is a wait list for the course. Cancellations within the final week prior to the course are non-refundable unless there is a wait list for the course and the course can be run with full attendance.
