Saturday, June 3rd 1pm - 5pm Number of students: 6 Location: 404 McArthur Avenue April 1st: EcoEquitable classroom June 3rd: UUFO Conference Room Instructor: Susan Sarrasin
Interested in learning how to take proper care of your sewing machine? Sewing machine technician, Susan Sarrasin, will teach this 4 hour interactive course to show you how to take apart your sewing machine and perform basic maintenance. She will explain the basic mechanism by which domestic sewing machines operate. Students are asked to bring their sewing machines to the workshop in order to learn on their own machines. The class is capped at 6 students in order to offer an intimate setting and lots of individual attention.
Students are required to bring in a sewing machine that requires servicing/maintenance rather than a machine that is completely broken as there is not enough time to do significant repairs. If your machine is broken, please contact us ahead of time and we can help you get it fixed.
All materials needed for the course are included in the class fee.
Written notice of cancellation may be processed with a full refund (minus a 10% admin fee) two weeks prior to the course starting.
