If you are a sewer, and you are very interested in sewing make beautiful
clothes for yourself and your family. But you are tired of commercial patterns. Then this would be a great course for you to take you will learn the correct way to be create clothing using your own clothes as a pattern.
You will learn how to
- figure out the changes required.
- make patterns easily for yourself and others without having to do any alterations.
- use easy tips and tricks for sewing.
- techniques to sew easily, quickly and beautifully.
- make clothing fast and more interesting,
All the tips and methods you learn will make you a professional seamstress. And you will find a renewed enthusiasm for making fashionable apparels, remodelling your old clothes and saving money.
Materials will be provided in class room
Prerequisite: Patternmaking II, and advanced sewing ability
Beginner sewing ability: very little knowledge of sewing
Intermediate sewing ability: Has some sewing knowledge able to successfully sew a garment following a pattern
Advanced sewing ability: Has been sewing for some time is able to follow a sewing pattern and also make fitting modifications to a pattern as well as garment design changes to patterns.

Written notice of cancellation may be processed with a full refund (minus a 10% admin fee) two weeks prior to the course starting. Cancellations received 1 week prior to the course are eligible for a 50% refund unless there is a wait list for the course. Cancellations within the final week prior to the course are non-refundable unless there is a wait list for the course and the course can be run with full attendance.
