Learn the basics of upholstery from a very seasoned professional. Ever wanted to redo your dining room chair cushions or make something inspired by something you found at a flee market? In this very special course, you will get the opportunity to learn how to cover dining room chairs, create and recover couch cushions, make a sofa cover and how to re-upholster a wingback chair. This seven week session will give you the skills and confidence to tackle these large home decor projects and create a sensational final product!
During this course you will learn to use hand-tools and also more professional tools such as an air-compressed staple gun.
EcoEquitable will provide the upholstery tools for in class projects. Just bring your imagination and be ready to have fun!
All materials needed for the course are included in the class fee.
About the Instructor:
Roberto has over 43 years of experience in upholstery after working at Da Silva Upholstery for many years, he created his own shop and offers custom upholstery services through Ottawa Textiles on St. Laurent Boulevard.

Written notice of cancellation may be processed with a full refund (minus a 10% admin fee) two weeks prior to the course starting. Cancellations received 1 week prior to the course are eligible for a 50% refund unless there is a wait list for the course. Cancellations within the final week prior to the course are non-refundable unless there is a wait list for the course and the course can be run with full attendance.
